Run, run, wait, run, run, wait! Going through the adoption process I am continually learning the true meaning of patience. It seems to be a pattern of hurry and get everything ready and then wait until the next set of paperwork. I received my I-800a approval (US approval) letter last Monday. This set a crazy week, that I couldn't have done without the help of my mom. I received the letter Monday and by Monday night had it notarized. Tuesday my mom ran it to the state office to be apostilled. Wednesday all of my dossier paperwork was gathered and on its way out of the country. Now my paperwork has been received and I was told it looks like everything is complete so they are beginning to translate all of it (this can take about 2 weeks). So again I wait!

As many people know adoption is very expensive. I can not say thank you enough to those who have supported me in this process! I have been saving, fundraising, and scrapping together the funds to bring Austin home. I currently have raised through fundraisers enough money for my 2 trips and for Austin's trip home (based on estimated amounts for the plane tickets). Between my saving and fundraising I am currently about $5000 away from being fully funded (estimating total expenses including travel at about $25,000). I do have a few more fundraisers happening right now that you can help me meet this goal by Christmas. You can even give to Reece's rainbows on my behalf and your donation will be tax deductible, http://reecesrainbow.org/97013/sponsorlawrence
