I received an email yesterday that stated my commitment papers were submitted and accepted!! To top my excitement today I also received some video updates on my little one! (I am sorry but I can't post anything yet!) Even though it has been a whirlwind of changes lately my timeline so far is about a year from commitment to home! I will continue to keep you updated as much as possible. God is great and he continues to show his amazing blessings!

I have some amazing friends who surprised me by having a lemonade stand to help fundraiser for my special little one and for another friends adoption! These great kids sold a ton of lemonade and even had "good news Marion" stop by to take their picture! Thank you so much!! My Fundraiser Garage sale is next Friday and Saturday 9am -3pm (July 10-11)! We will be set up next to the market rain or shine! Thanks to all those who have donated items! We have some very nice items for sale. We have some furniture, lamps, pool supplies, saddles, horse supplies, games, books and so much more!
I am selling flower beads as a fundraiser. Each bead is made from yellow roses and red carnations. A yellow rose shows a Promise of a new beginning (it also happens to be the national flower for the country I am looking at adopting from). A red carnation can show adoration and good luck (it is also Ohio's state flower). For my fundraiser I am asking for a donation of $20 for just the bead. The beads will fit on a pandora bracelet. You can also get your bead on an angel or a bracelet for an additional donation of $10.
If you are interested in purchasing a bead please message me or fill out the form under "buy a bead" link at the top of this pageand we will set up a time or way to get your bead to you! We will also be selling the beads at the Orchard! Thank you so much for your love and support! I have been filling out and working on applications after applications but I am excited to share that my first set of papers are on their way to being translated and sent over seas! This is just the first small set of papers with many more to follow!
Fun evening of bead making and friends! Thank you to Crystal, Kim, and Amanda for coming over to help! Thanks mom for all the help to get this fundraiser set up!
Adoption is a long and expensive process and I will be having some fundraising events coming up to help me bring home my special little one!
I am going to be having a fundraising garage sale July 10th and 11th. If you have anything that you would be willing to donate to my garage sale please let me know! I have known for years that I have been called to adopt. As I begin this amazing process I am beyond excited to see what God has planned. God is guiding my path and opening the doors to help this process along. I will keep this blog up to date with as much of the process as I can but for now I am just asking for prayer as I take the next steps in the coming weeksIf you are looking for something fun to do this weekend come on out to the orchard for Special Riding Stars horsemanship show! Saturday 10am to 2 pm! Again some amazing friends are helping me out and will be running a lemonade stand at our show! All donations from the lemonade stand will go to help bring my special little one home! There will be family games, hay rides, lunch, and of course some Hard Working kids who have would love to show you all they can do! Hope we will see you there! |
AuthorWelcome to my adoption blog. As much as I am not one to post much, I did want to share my excitement as I go through this adoption process. God has provided so much and continues to show he has big plans. Archives
